Swim & Dive Team
Members children aged 6-18 have the opportunity to join either or both of the Club's swim and dive teams, the Seahawks. Our Seahawks swim and dive teams have, for many years, been a vital part of the Rolling Hills community, and are members of the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL) and the Northern Virginia Dive League (NVDL). Swim and dive meets begin in late June and continue through the end of July. NVSL swim meets are on Saturday mornings, and NVDL dive meets on Tuesday evenings.Our Seahawks swim team also is a member of the West Springfield Developmental League (WSDL), which holds developmental meets on Monday evenings from late June through mid-July. The purpose of these developmental meets is to provide an opportunity to compete to those swimmers who did not swim or place in the top three in the previous Saturday s NVSL meet.The Club's Seahawks swim and dive teams are not just about competition. Our main objective is that participating children have fun while improving their swimming and diving skills. Children need not have great swimming or diving ability to join the Seahawks just a willingness to learn and try hard. The Seahawks also have a number of team- related social activities, so the fun is not limited to the water.If you have any questions regarding any aspect of the Club's Seahawks swim or dive teams, we encourage you to contact us.
